The Aztech DSL500U is a Full Rate Annex A ADSL USB modem. It uses Alcatel MTK-20152 2-Chip Dynamite solution, which consists of MTC-20154 (AFE) and MTC-20158 (USB Controller). It complies with ANSI T1.413 Issue 2, ITU-T G.dmt (G.992.1) and G.lite (G.992.2). This rate-adaptive solution is designed for CPE and supports maximum downstream data rates up to 8Mbps and maximum upstream data rates up to 832Kbps. It is interoperable with major DSLAMs and provides drivers to support all major operating systems. This modem is targeted at residential market for its ease of hot-swappable installation.
